Aldeburgh Summer 2018 Fundraising Campaign

Blink and it'll be gone....

Flood! Poster 3 images.JPG

This summer the Alde and Ore Estuary Trust has designed and distributed attention grabbing posters throughout Aldeburgh, depicting the floods that happened in Aldeburgh in 1953 and Snape in 2013, together with an artist’s impression of what the High Street could look like with further floods. As part of the Save Our Suffolk Estuary fundraising campaign, the posters warn tourists and the estimated 300,000 visitors flocking to Aldeburgh, that flooding could take our ‘wonderful Suffolk playground’. Business owners throughout the town have also rallied to raise awareness and funds for the £12 million flood defence scheme. Discover more here and text AOET10 £10 to 70070 to donate £10. Thank you.
